Our busy summer starts off early

We started our summer travels early this year when we had to travel to Las Vegas for Nationals Cheer competition for our little cheerleader McKenna. That was in the end of May. Then we had our 3rd annual family vacation to Bear Lake the last weekend of June. I was only to go for one day as I had to be the labor and delivery nurse for our chihuahua Tink. She delivered her second litter of two on sunday June 29th. (see photos) McKenna named the girl Cookie and the boy is Bolt. Bolt had a little struggle coming into the world but is now doing fine. Then on July 19th we traveled to Dave and Heathers in Idaho Falls. She has been bugging us to come so we finally found a weekend we could go. We went on to Jackson Hole all day saturday and then we traveled on Sunday up through west Yellowstone and down through Montana and Idaho all in two days. It was a whirlwind but great fun. We got home at 10:30 pm sunday night and alas I had 5 days of girls camp ahead of me at 7 am monday and I hadn't packed yet. OOPS. But it all worked out and I had a great time at camp.
Then we move on to the third part of our summer when Gentry leaves Aug 11th. (the day before his 18th birthday) to travel to Germany to spend 6 weeks with his dad and family. But we also are getting his final merit badge finished up so he can finally earn his Eagle. (He has had everything done but the one badge for 2 years. KING OF PROCRASTINATION!!!) OH and the biggest event was Gentry graduated from high school YEAH!!!!. So as you can see we have had quite a busy summer and look forward to school starting back up for McKenna and life calming back down into a smooter rhythm.
